Known for his explosive live shows and electrifying stage presence, Platinum recording artist Cody Johnson has learned the art of the perfect country show. Although the East Texas singer started out as a rodeo bull rider, eventually his path led him to music. He released his first album in 2006, then spent night after night on the road, growing his audience with every performance.

While the past couple years have kept Johnson stationary, he has continued to prove that he isn’t afraid to put in the work. In 2020, he began recording his newest album Human, which Johnson calls his most vulnerable one yet. The double album consists of 18 tracks that have received tremendous media praise, making the “best-of” lists with All Music (Favorite Country Albums of 2021), Billboard (15 Best Country Songs of 2021), Holler (Country Records of the Year, Human), The New York Times (Best Album of 2021) and more.

With an established following of loyal fans, Johnson regularly sells out shows across the country. He’s earned multiple ACM and CMA Award nominations, a Platinum-selling, Top 10 single (“On My Way to You”), two RIAA Gold-certified tracks (“Nothin’ on You” and “With You I Am”) and more than two billion streams worldwide. All of these accomplishments are only the beginning, as MusicRow predicts, “[Johnson] might be the future of real country music.”
