One of the biggest kid parties of the year is coming up next month in Fayetteville.

Of course, we’re talking about the Firefly Fling, set for Saturday, July 16 at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.

The annual event includes a host of activities for kids, including fairy house building, nature stations, crafts and more.

This year’s event will also include performances by fire dancers from Arkansas Circus Arts, along with music by local band Melody Pond, cellist Auralai, and children’s musician Katie Dwyer.

Glow sticks, fairy wings, swords, wands, and other special items will be for sale at the event. Fairy costumes and woodland creature costumes are encouraged. Blankets and lawn chairs are also recommended.

Tickets to the event are on sale now. Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets at the gate are $20 for adults, and $10 for children.

For more ticket and information on the event, visit bgozarks.org.
