It’s summer. It’s Thursday. In Fayetteville, that (usually) means it’s time for free music at Gulley Park.

The Gulley Park Concert Series, the annual summer show series held weekly at the gazebo in Gulley Park, continues tonight (June 23) with a performance by Tulsa-based New Orleans-style brass band, King Cabbage Brass Band.

The series is organized by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and features free outdoor live music with plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs throughout the fields surrounding the gazebo stage at the park in east Fayetteville.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and the concerts are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack beverages, snacks or dinner, but food vendors will also be set up around the park.
