There’s a ton happening in and around Fayetteville. Several tons, maybe.

Locals Leah & The Mojo Doctors are kicking things off at George’s on Friday night for happy hour, followed by local party band Boom Kinetic for the late night show. George’s also has the return of locals Benjamin Del Shreve band on Saturday night, and Big Bad Gina takes the stage on Sunday. Here’s ticket info to George’s shows.

New Orleans-based band Better Than Ezra is in town for the first time in a long time for a show. This time, they’ll be at JJ’s Live on Friday night. Here’s ticket info.

There’s a jazz show at the Fayetteville Roots HQ on the square featuring Cohen, Barth and Wilson Jazz Trio. It’s also a fundraiser for the NWA Jazz Society. Here’s more info.

How about a rock show? Smoke & Barrel Tavern will host Arkansas hardcore band Burned Up Bled Dry, along with locals Bones of the Earth and Stress Dream for a show on Saturday. Here’s an interview with the band from earlier this week.

Dive In Movies returns to the Wilson Park Pool this weekend as well with a showing of the Disney sing-a-long film, Encanto. Admission is $2 at the door, and the movie starts at dusk. Here’s more info.

TheatreSquared’s new show Miss You Like Hell continues all weekend at their facility in downtown Fayetteville. The show was been so popular, the company just announced they have extended it’s run. Here’s ticket info.

Walton Arts Center has a summer Broadway show this weekend as well with “A Chorus Line” playing through the weekend. Here’s ticket info.

Mount Sequoyah Center will celebrate the installation of three new public art pieces on Saturday with a ribbon cutting and reception. We wrote about that earlier this week as well, and more info is here.

There’s a lot going on around the region as well. Up in Bentonville, the annual Bentonville Film Festival is taking place at various locations around the city. The event includes film screenings, panel discussions, outdoor movie nights, and more. More information is here.

Also in Bentonville, legendary electronic band Kraftwerk will perform at the Momentary on Sunday.

Up in Rogers, country artists Cody Johnson, Craig Campbell, and Ashland Craft will perform at the Walmart AMP on Saturday night.

The Rodeo of the Ozarks is in town all weekend at Parson’s Stadium in Springdale.

It’s a lot. Like we said, we’re gonna need a weekend to recover from this weekend. Have a good one, everyone.
