Carlos Santana has postponed several shows – including a July 12 appearance at the Walmart AMP – after collapsing on stage during a concert last week.

A total of six July concerts were postponed “out of an abundance of caution for the artist’s health,” including performances in Noblesville, Indiana; Cincinnati, Ohio; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Dallas, Texas; and Woodlands, Texas, Santana’s manager Michael Vrionis said in a statement.

“Carlos is doing well and is anxious to be back on stage soon. He just needs rest,” said Vrionis. “Santana profoundly regrets that these postponements of his upcoming performances; but, his health is our number one concern. He is looking forward to seeing all of his fans very soon.”

Vrionis said the rescheduled show dates will be announced soon, and all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates.
