It’s been a busy season for music at the Walmart AMP, but if you thought the venue was finished adding shows to the lineup this year, well, you’d be wrong about that, buddy.

Venue officials on Tuesday announced that award-winning country artists The Chicks and legendary songwriter Patty Griffin will be coming to town for a show on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

The show is one of five new dates added this week to The Chicks Tour, which features the 13-time Grammy Award-winning band.

The band released their fifth studio album, the critically-acclaimed Gaslighter, in 2020. The record was their first in nearly 14 years.

The Chicks have sold more that 30.5 million albums, and have dozens of awards for their work including 13 Grammy Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and numerous Country Music Association Awards, and others.

Other shows added to the tour this week include Oklahoma City, Okla.; Woodlands, Texas; and Irving, Texas.

Tickets range from $39-$149.50.
