Polish up your putt-putt skills, and get ready to help raise some money to benefit local animals.

It’s time once again for Putt for Paws.

The 14th annual mini-golf tourney and fundraiser for the Humane Society of the Ozarks is coming up on Saturday, Aug. 13 at Foghorn’s Wings on Green Acres Road, and Lokomotion Family Fun Park.

This year’s event will begin at 9 a.m. at Lokomotion with a mini-golf tourney, followed my lunch, music, raffle, and more at Foghorn’s at around 11 a.m.

The entry fee is $25 ($20 for Humane Society members), and includes a round of mini-golf, a t-shirt, and a buffet-style lunch at Foghorn’s. Sponsorships are also available for businesses for $300 for a hole sponsorship, or $200 for a golf sponsorship.

The event has grown to become big deal for the Humane Society over the years, raising well over $100,000 for the organization since it began in 2009.

All, as in 100%, of the proceeds from the event go directly to the Humane Society of the Ozarks, as any expenses not covered through donations are paid by Foghorn’s directly.
