Tory Gaddy, University of Arkansas

Tory Gaddy has been named director of development for the U of A College of Education and Health Professions.

In this role, she will manage a growing portfolio of major gifts, cultivate new donor relationships and assist in fundraising in support of the college.

Gaddy was most recently the director of development and external relations for the School of Law, where she led efforts during Campaign Arkansas, which led to a 400% increase in private scholarship support. She also played a integral role in securing funding for the Public Service Fellowship Program established in 2019.


Jacob London, University of Arkansas

Jacob London, a 17-year staffer of the University of Arkansas Office of Testing Services, has been named its new director.

London is responsible for expanding access to remote and on-campus testing, forming partnerships with units across campus and ensuring compliance of all testing processes and procedures from external vendors.

London will also take over the center as it assumes responsibility of the the campus’ accommodated testing efforts in partnership with the Center for Educational Access.


Kimberly Powell, Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic

Kimberly Powell, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, will join Internal Medicine at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic.

Nurse Practitioner Powell has spent more than a decade in healthcare as a Registered Nurse, working in progressive cardiac care, medical-surgical care, urgent care, and primary care.

She completed her undergraduate studies in Nursing at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and went on to take her Master’s in Nursing at Chamberlain University in Chicago. There she trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner.


Jorge Rodriguez, Conner & Winters

Conner & Winters announces the addition of Jorge Rodiguez as an associate in its Northwest Arkansas office.

Rodriguez primarily provides counsel to businesses and individuals involved in business disputes. He regularly advises and assists financial institutions, creditors, real estate and construction companies, a wide range of healthcare companies, and other business entities.

Rodriguez is bilingual, graduated second in his class and completed a capstone externship with the Honorable Timothy L. Brooks of the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.


Kari Schrank, Washington Regional

Kari Schrank, APRN, recently joined the Washington Regional Cardiovascular Clinic.

The clinic is part of the Washington Regional Walker Heart Institute, which provides comprehensive care for the heart.

Schrank holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valparaiso University.

She has more than 15 years’ experience as a nurse practitioner.


Sen Sheng, Washington Regional

Sen Sheng, MD, PhD, recently joined the Washington Regional J.B. Hunt Transport Services Neuroscience Institute, where he provides acute care for hospitalized patients with stroke, seizures and other neurologic issues, including patients who require acute electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring for diagnosis and treatment.

Sheng also sees patients at Washington Regional Neurology Clinic with a focus on treating epilepsy.

He earned his medical degree and doctorate in neuroscience from Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing and completed a neurology residency at UAMS.


Anna Zajicek, University of Arkansas

Anna Zajicek, professor of sociology and associate dean in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas, has been named interim vice provost for faculty affairs.

She will replace Kathryn Sloan, who was named interim vice provost for academic affairs in June.

In her new position, Zajicek will be responsible for advancing the strategic recruitment, retention, evaluation and professional development of university faculty and will work with faculty concerning grievances and complaints.
