A local non-profit is planning a benefit next week to raise funds for new solar panels.

Apple Seeds Inc., an organization that operates a teaching farm in Fayetteville with a mission “to inspire healthy living through garden-based education,” will host their SUNday at the Farm fundraiser at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 this year.

The event will include live music by Jeremy Morris, food by Lux Grill, beverages by Crisis Brewing, yard games, and other activities.

The event is for adults aged 21 and older.

Those who can’t attend the event are encouraged to make a contribution online.

Tickets are $50, and proceeds go toward converting the teaching farm to a new solar system.
