A new sports bar and restaurant will soon open on the west side of town.
The new joint, called Parker’s Sports Grill, is in the works at 3980 W. Wedington Drive, in the space formerly home to Joe’s Italian.

Renovations of the space are well underway, but the plan is to include plenty of big screens for watching sporting events, along with pool tables, a trivia night, karaoke night, and a monthly live music performance.
The menu will focus on burgers, wings, and some specialty items, along with a full bar, owner Brandon Parker told us this week.
The restaurant is currently hiring for all positions.
If all goes well, Parker’s Sports Grill will open sometime in late September or early October.
