A benefit to raise funds for the fight against stomach cancer will take place in Fayetteville next month.

The event, organized by NWA resident Laura Krauss who lost her husband Zack to the disease last spring, will take place on Oct. 29 at Fayetteville Town Center.

The benefit will include live music by country artist Kelsey Lamb, and local artists Green Acres Band, Ted Hammig and the Campaign, and Gavin Sumrall, along with food, a street faire, and a silent auction featuring items created by local makers and more.

Laura said that she considers the event the first of what she plans to make an annual event in honor of her late husband.

Tickets to the event are $20, and proceeds benefit No Stomach for Cancer, an organization that provides stomach cancer research, prevention, and education programs.
