Folk group The Kingston Trio is coming to Fayetteville this month.

The group is set to perform at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Faulkner Performing Arts Center on the University of Arkansas Campus.

Current members of the band include Mike Marvin (adopted son of founding member Nick Reynolds) along with Tim Gorelangton and Buddy Woodward. The band will perform several of the songs the band is known for, including “Where Have All The Flowers Gone,” “Tom Dooley” and others.

“I am proud to continue The Kingston Trio tradition and to share the music Nick, Dave, Bob and John performed and getting audiences everywhere up and singing with us,” Mike Marvin said in a press release announcing the new tour. “It’s all the more gratifying to perform this music for all the fans who have been faithfully waiting for us to return to the road.”

The band released 19 albums that made the Billboard Top 100, including five number 1 albums, and the group still ranks among the all-time lists of Billboard’s cumulative charts, including those for most weeks with a No. 1 album, most total weeks charting an album, most No. 1 albums, most consecutive No. 1 albums, and most top ten albums.

Tickets to the show range from $30-$45, and are on sale now at uark.universitytickets.com.
