For the first time in three years, Fayetteville will have a February craft beer festival.

Frost Fest, the annual winter time outdoor beer festival organized by the folks at Fossil Cove Brewery, is set for Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023.

The event has been on hiatus since it was last held in February 2020. We all know what happened that very next month.

For those who aren’t familiar with Frost Fest, the event started in 2016 as a way to showcase local and regional breweries from around the region, and to give back to a few local organizations. When it was last held, the event featured more than 60 breweries, including several that aren’t typically available in Fayetteville. The beers were often poured by the brewers themselves, and several attendees brought exclusive or special made beers just for the event. Live music and food trucks have also typically been part of the scene at the event.

Other than the date, no specific location or brewery details were released for the 2023 event. For the last few years it happened, the event had been held in a field near the Washington County Fairgrounds.

You can check out the video announcing the return of the event on Instagram.

According to the event website, tickets will go on sale sometime early next month. We’ll keep you posted.
