After a few years off due to the pandemic, the True Lit Festival will make its return to Fayetteville this year.

This year’s event will include appearances by New York Times bestselling author Ayana Gray, along with K-Ming Chang, a UA Walton Distinguished Visiting Writer. Also set to join is award-winning children’s nonfiction author Susan Campbell and others.

The event kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 1, and runs through the weekend with a host of author talks, workshops, readings and more.

The event is organized through a partnership by Fayetteville Public Schools, Fayetteville Public Education Foundation, Walton Arts Center, the UA Program in Creative Writing and Translation, and Altrusa International.
