The Fayetteville City Council’s agenda-setting session has been rescheduled from Tuesday, Nov. 8 to Thursday, Nov. 10.

City officials said the change was made so that residents, staff, councilmembers and candidates do not have to choose between attending the meeting and participating in Election Day activities.

As usual, the meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The council convenes twice each month on the first and third Tuesday for its official meetings, and holds agenda-setting sessions each previous Tuesday to get an early look at the upcoming agenda items and ask questions of city staff about each proposed resolution or ordinance.

Council meetings and agendas are published on the Flyer each week along with all of the city’s scheduled meetings.
