New restaurants open at Northwest Arkansas Mall

A few new restaurants have recently opened inside the Northwest Arkansas Mall, and at least one more is on the way.

Hawaiian restaurant Taste of Hawaii, Filipino restaurant It’s Sa Wrap, and funnel cake/cotton candy and popcorn spot Sugar Daddy’s have opened in the food court in the last year.

We also noticed another place called Stuff Your Spud that looks to be on the way in the space formerly home to Jammin’ Java.

Here’s what we know about the new places.

Taste of Hawaii

Taste of Hawaii originally opened in Springdale on Hwy 412. That location closed, but the restaurant reopened at the mall back in the spring.

The menu focuses on a handful of traditional Hawaiian dishes, including Chicken Katsu, Loco Moco, Mitsubi, and others.

According to the company’s Google listing, the restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 12-6 p.m.

It’s Sa Wrap

It’s Sa Wrap got its start at the Mae Farm food truck court near Lake Fayetteville where it became popular for its breakfast, street food, entrees or shareable platters of Filipino cuisine.

The restaurant, now located in the food court, still offers all-day Filipino breakfast items, along with specialities like Sizzling Sisig, Crispy Pata, and more.

The restaurant is also open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 12-6 p.m.

Sugar Daddy’s

Sugar Daddy’s focuses on dessert items, including several funnel cake options with various toppings, cotton candies and fresh popcorn.

Hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 12-6 p.m.

Stuff Your Spud

We haven’t been able to find much information about Stuff your Spud just yet, but after looking at a few online job listings, we were able to piece together that the restaurant will focus on loaded baked potatoes, along with soups, salads and French fries. It looks like Stuff Your Spud will open soon.
