Marshalltown this month broke ground on a 51,000-square-foot expansion of its facility on Armstrong Avenue in Fayetteville.

The privately owned company based in Iowa is known for its tools used in the construction industry. The
Fayetteville plant has been in operation since 1982.

“We committed to Fayetteville 40 years ago and we’re thrilled to be building for the next 40 and beyond,” said Jack Murders, the company’s vice president of Arkansas facilities. “This expansion is about growing Marshalltown while investing in our community.”

Once the project is complete, Marshalltown will have about 500,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space in Arkansas.

The project, slated for completion in November 2023, adds shipping and receiving docks, employee workspace, storage facilities, and an upgrade in electrical systems.

Marshalltown employs over 200 people in Fayetteville, and produces about 3,600 items at the local facility.
