Officials are asking residents to provide feedback on a draft of a park system master plan, which will set the vision and guide the city’s efforts over the next 10 years.

It will be the city’s first parks master plan since 2002.

Officials said the current 104-page draft was put together after a series of public engagement opportunities, including meetings, focus groups and questionnaires.

Development of the new plan began in 2018 in an effort to identify achievable strategies regarding the department’s development, programing, funding and priorities for the future.

Feedback will be accepted through Wednesday, Nov. 23 through the city’s Speak Up Fayetteville website.
