The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will host its 10th annual Jingle Bell Jog 5K and Children’s Fun Run fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 17 on the garden grounds at 4703 N. Crossover Road in east Fayetteville.

Ugly Christmas sweaters, Santa hats, elf ears or anything that sparkles and jingles is highly encouraged.

The 5K race begins at 9 a.m. and the fun run starts at 10 a.m. Both events include a warm-up stretch session led by an instructor 30 minutes before the race.

The 5K course starts and finishes inside the garden and is an out-and-back along the Lake Fayetteville Trail and Razorback Greenway. The Children’s Fun Run takes place inside the garden.

All participant race packets will include a custom-made long sleeve t-shirt commemorating the event. Those who complete the races will each receive a finishers medal. Awards will also be handed out to the fastest girl/woman and boy/man runners in each age group. The first 200 fun run participants (ages 12 and under) will receive a swag bag.

Pets are not allowed to participate in the event.

Registration prices start at $45 for the 5K and $17.50 for the fun run. Entry fees increase by $5 after Dec. 10. Light snacks are included with registration.
