(Photo: Jay Stout)Old Santa Claus himself will be dropping in for an appearance in Fayetteville this year. Quite literally.
The jolly old man is scheduled to skydive into the Arkansas Air & Military Museum for an event called the Santa Drop on Saturday, Dec. 17.
The free event features a skydiving exhibition including Santa and a handful of his elves parachuting onto the museum grounds. Attendees can write their letters to Santa on paper airplanes for him to read later, and he’ll be setting up shop in front of a C-130 Hercules plane on the grounds for photos as well.
Gates will open for the event at 10 a.m., and the exhibition will begin at 11 a.m.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
