A man died after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Old Missouri Road in Springdale on Saturday.

The man, in his early 50s, was struck by a 2019 Jeep Wrangler just north of Electric Avenue at around 7:30 p.m.
Police said the driver of the Jeep did not see the man crossing the road and had no chance to slow down or avoid the collision. The driver will not face any charges.
No drugs or alcohol are believed to have been involved in the accident, according to police.
The incident remains under investigation.
