An organization that raises funds for groups that help women and children in Washington County will soon host one of its largest fundraisers of the year.
The event, a benefit for Fayetteville’s Junior Civic League, is called “I Love Fayetteville Big Party” and is set for Friday, March 3 at George’s Majestic Lounge.
The fundraiser will include live music by Funk Factory and TJ Scarlett, appetizers, a raffle for vacation packages, and more.
Last year, the event raised more than $72,000 for 19 local nonprofits, including CASA of Northwest Arkansas, Children’s Safety Center, Peace at Home Family Shelter, and others.
The event begins at 7 p.m. with happy hour, snacks, and music by Scarlett, and Funk Factory will take the state at 8 p.m
