3 Doors Down, Candlebox added to 2023 Walmart AMP lineup

American rock band 3 Doors Down will commemorate their 2002 sophomore album Away From The Sun this summer with an anniversary tour that includes a stop at the Walmart AMP on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

Special guests Candlebox will open the show. Gates open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7:30 p.m.

Presales for tickets will begin on Tuesday, March 21, with public sales starting on Friday, March 24. Standard ticket prices range from $30-$89.50, with a lawn 4-pack available for $90.

3 Doors Down will play all of the songs from Away From The Sun during the show, as well as all of their biggest hits. The album includes “Here Without You,” which reached No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Platinum six times. The lead single, “When I’m Gone,” peaked at No. 4 and spent 17 weeks on the charts.

Candlebox will be promoting their final farewell studio album, which is set to be released later this year.

New for the 2023 season is the AMP’s $20 Premier Reserved Parking add-on, which guarantees a space in the parking lot across from the venue’s main entrance. A limited number spots will be available for most shows.
