An upcoming mobile job fair will offer free child care, haircuts, headshots and other support for people who are looking for a job.

The local event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 31 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Fayetteville. Online registration is available at insightglobal.com.

The goal is to remove potential barriers for underserved job seekers who may lack the resources and confidence to pursue work. The event is part of a tour organized by Insight Global, an Atlanta-based staffing agency, and is set to visit a dozen cities across the country.

Attendees will have free access to one-on-one career counseling, plus workshops on resume writing, interview skills, and job hunting.

A headshot studio will be available with a stylist who’ll offer free haircuts from A Cut Above Barber and Stylist Lounge, and a professional photographer will take photos and upload them to a LinkedIn profile.

The event will also offer free childcare services and lunch.

Local companies scheduled to be in attendance include Indeed Walmart Corporation, Tyson Foods, City Year, Two Men and a Truck, HRC LLC, Firstar Bank, Scot Shaw State Farm, Walmart Finance Tech, Advantage Solutions (ATLAS), Farm Bureau, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, Better Homes & Gardens, and Paradox.

Assistance for Spanish speakers, the hearing impaired, and differently-abled individuals will be available.
