City seeks artists and performers for The Ramble this spring and summer

(City of Fayetteville)

The city is seeking artists, musicians, performers, wellness professionals, and others for programming in the Lower Ramble outdoor space this spring and summer.

Officials issued a call for artists to submit proposals in a variety of disciplines for events in April, May, and June in the new space located along the Razorback Greenway.

From the call for artists:

The City of Fayetteville invites artists of all kinds to implement an activation, class, performance or installation in the Lower Ramble during the months of April, May and June. The activation should occur over most of a four-hour period or present an equivalent or greater display period of passive activation. A passive activation or installation must not extend longer than 45 days.

The goal is to add artistic activations throughout the Lower Ramble that engage a diverse public audience with locations in the Lower Ramble park.

The city’s Arts and Culture Division is leading the programming efforts, and seeking programming that fits one of the following four categories; performance/music, education, visual art, and wellness/fitness.

According to the submission website, selected artists will be paid $500 per activation, with up to $350 in additional funds available for materials.

Interested artists can apply online at fayetteville-ar.gov.
