Those summer concert announcements are rolling in on the daily lately. For fans of alt-rock band Smashing Pumpkins, today(s announcement) is the greatest. Probably. (Sorry.)

Walmart AMP officials announced this morning that the band will perform at the venue on Wednesday, Aug. 16 as part of their new The World is a Vampire Tour.

The band has a new single and a three-part rock opera called Atum coming out next month on April 21, and they are set to kick off a world tour in support of the new work April 15.

The show at the AMP will include support by Manhattan rock band Interpol, who are also touring again this summer, and California-based rockers Rival Sons.

Tickets to the show range from $45-$150 (plus fees), and discounted lawn 4-pack (a four-ticket bundle of lawn sets) tickets are also available for $135.
