Gulley Park Summer Concert Series to kick off with Grammy-nominated musician John Fullbright

Gulley Park Summer Concert Series (City of Fayetteville)

The 27th annual Gulley Park Summer Concert Series kicks off on Thursday, June 8 with Grammy-nominated Americana singer-songwriter John Fullbright.

After that, Texas rockers Nik Parr & The Selfless Lovers will perform on June 15, followed by an unannounced artist on June 22, Top 40s party band Funk Factory on June 29, locals Dead Horse Mountain Band on July 6, and singer-songwriter Ashtyn Barbaree with openers from School of Rock on July 13.

For those unfamiliar, the concert series is organized by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department, and features free outdoor live music with plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs throughout the fields surrounding the gazebo stage at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and the concerts are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are also usually set up around the park.
