City officials are looking for some input from residents for the development of the Walker Park Master Plan.

The master plan will serve as a guide for the park’s forthcoming enhancements, which are scheduled to begin in 2024.

Two drafted conceptual plans will be presented during an open-house meeting from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23 at the large pavilion just north of the park’s tennis courts at 10 W. 15 St. During the event, residents can view the plans and offer feedback.

The concepts were crafted using feedback received in previous meetings, including focus groups, a park meeting, and an online questionnaire that garnered input from 384 participants, according to a news release.

For those unable to attend the meeting in person, the plans will be accessible through June 11 on Speak Up Fayetteville, the city’s online engagement portal.
