Lake Fayetteville Trail bridge installation begins
Workers used a crane to lower the first of two new bridges into place along Lake Fayetteville Trail just south of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.

The U.S. Census Bureau will hire thousands of people for temporary work throughout Arkansas.
City receives grant to replace trees lost in ice storm
Thanks to a grant from the Arkansas Forestry Commission, about 230 of the more than 3000 trees lost in January’s ice storm will be replaced.
