If you’re interested in checking out a giant motorcycle parade, or if you’re the type of person that likes to avoid that kind of traffic, you should be aware that the Bikes, Blues & BBQ Parade of Power is set for Saturday, Sept. 21.

The annual event will feature thousands of motorcycles stretching across the better part of Fayetteville as they make their way from the Washington County Fairgrounds down to Dickson Street.

Staging for the parade will begin at 3:30 p.m., and the first riders will leave the fairgrounds at around 4 p.m.

From the fairgrounds, the parade will make its way up Drake Street to Gregg Avenue, to Township Street, and up College Avenue toward downtown before finishing up on Dickson Street.

The best vantage points for watching the parade are along College Avenue north of Dickson Street, and on Dickson Street east of West Avenue.
