Dogwood Walk scheduled for May 7 at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville

It’s time for another dog party in the park.

The Humane Society of the Ozarks will host the 24th annual Dogwood Walk on Saturday, May 7 at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville.

Registration for the event, which serves as one of the largest fundraisers of the year for the Humane Society, begins at 9 a.m. (or pre-register here).

After that, a morning full of contests and other activities for dogs (and owners) are planned, leading up to the annual Dogwood Walk parade around the park trail at 11 a.m.

This year, the parade will be led by Fox 24’s Channing Barker.

Registration is $25 ($20 for Humane Society members), and includes lunch and a t-shirt. Companion Passes for families or friends are available for an additional $5 with a paid registration (does not include a t-shirt). Kids 5 and under may attend for free.

Microchipping will be available for an additional $20 and includes implanting of the microchip by a veterinarian and the microchip registration fee.
