The leaves are turning, and the weather is getting cooler. That means it’s almost craft fair season in NWA.

The big event in War Eagle (the annual War Eagle Craft Fair) is coming up Oct. 19-22, and this year, there will be plenty of local arts and crafts to check out in Fayetteville as well that same weekend at the Fall Harvest Festival Oct. 19-21 at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

This year’s local event will feature hundreds of booths both indoors and out featuring art, home spun crafts, home décor, fashion apparel, antiques, vintage and more created by artisans and craftsman from across the country. There will also be concessions on site, and live music is planned as well.

A related even will also take place at the NW Arkansas Convention Center inside the Holiday Inn Springdale Oct. 20-21.

The Fayetteville show will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day. The show is free to attend, and open to the public. Parking at the fairgrounds will also be free.
