The second edition of the Format Festival will take place at a new venue in 2023.

Organizers said the upcoming event, set for Sept. 22-24, has been moved to the Momentary in downtown Bentonville. It was previously held at the 250-acre Sugar Creek Airstrip on Price Coffee Road, about four miles northeast of Bentonville.

The move was made “due to production challenges” with the Sugar Creek Airstrip, according to a news release.

Headliners for this year’s event include New York rock band LCD Soundsystem on Friday night, 90s icon Alanis Morissette on Saturday, and soul artist Leon Bridges on Sunday night. Those artists join Modest Mouse, Jamie XX, Tash Sultana, Big Wild, Little Simz, Bob Moses, Poolside, Channel Tres, and Paul Cauthen and several others on the festival lineup.

In addition to music, the festival will once again feature art installations and experiences by a host of working artists from around the world. This year’s artists include Guerrilla Girls, JR’s Inside Out Project, Jeremy Deller, Ragnar Kjartansson, and Kameelah Janan Rasheed.

Tickets are available online and start at $100 for a one-day pass or $199 for a three-day pass.
