Local party band Funk Factory will play the final Gulley Park Summer Concert Series show of the season on Thursday, July 20.

The band, made up of some of the most talented group of musicians performing together in NWA right now, plays a mix of “Motown Soul to Guitar Soloin’ Rock & Roll, from smooth Sinatra Jazz to Modern Pop,” according to their website.

In addition to the music, it’s “Kidz Night’, featuring obstacle course inflatables, a bounce house, face painting, jumbo size yard games and other activities for the little ones.

For those unfamiliar, the concert series is organized by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department, and features free outdoor live music with plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs throughout the fields surrounding the gazebo stage at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and the concerts are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are also usually set up around the park.
