Greedy Goats back at Wilson Park for final fall clearing

The Greedy Goats of NWA are scheduled to return to Fayetteville’s Wilson Park this week for a final fall clearing event.

The goats are brought in a few times each year to eat honeysuckle, privet, poison ivy and other invasive vegetation as part of the parks department’s efforts to manage overgrown areas of the park. The goats will work from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Saturday, Oct. 13, according to a city news release.

The community is invited to watch the animals at work.
