REMINDER: Homegrown Festival set for June 22-24 in Fayetteville

The Homegrown Music & Mountain Sports Festival takes place June 22-24 at Kessler Mountain Regional Park, located at 2600 W. Judge Cummings Road in Fayetteville.

The festival features three days of live music and outdoor sports events, including a trail race, disc golf tournament, mountain bike endurance race, and a headlining performance from Yonder Mountain String Band member Jeff Austin’s new band. Several kids activities are also planned throughout the weekend.

The sustainability-focused festival is free to attend, but some of the sports events have entry fees.

The event kicks off at 2 p.m. Friday with disc golf, followed by live music from 4:30-11 p.m. Bands include Arkansauce, The Mighty Pines and more.

Saturday’s festivities begin at 8 a.m. with a 10K trail race. Disc golf continues at 10 a.m. Saturday along with yoga, and a four-hour endurance mountain bike race that begins at 6 p.m. Saturday’s music lineup includes Jeff Austin Band, Handmade Moments and more.

Sunday activities include a Renaissance Race at 1 p.m. followed by a bike demo and bike polo expo at 2 p.m. Sunday’s music lineup includes George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Black Pumas, Mudhawk and more.
