Officials are seeking help to clean up litter around the lake, as well as paddlers with boats to help expand their reach into the water to collect floating debris.

Volunteers can check in anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Lake Sequoyah Park, located at 6608 E Lake Sequoyah Drive.

Cleanup supplies and snacks will be provided, and volunteers are encouraged to bring sturdy shoes or rain/muck boots and a refillable water bottle.
