Grammy-nominated local band Trout Fishing in America, and folk duo Still on the Hill will perform a free family concert in Fayetteville this month.

The bands will perform at the annual “Share the Love” event on Nov. 29 at Adventure Subaru.

The event will serve as a kick off for a larger initiative in which Subaru donates $250 for every car sold during a roughly 40-day period over the winter to a local or national charity. The event has raised more than $50,000 for the last two years for Feed Communities.

This year, the dealership is raising money for hometown charities, Feed Communities and the Buffalo River Watershed Alliance.

A food drive is currently underway as well, and suggested admission to the concert is a non-perishable, healthy food donation.

The first 50 attendees will receive a free copy of Trout Fishing in America’s Grammy nominated CD, Merry Fishes, and Still on the Hill’s album Still a River.

Gourmet chili and sweets will be provided by local restaurants, and there will be complimentary beverages, artisan cheeses, coffee and apple cider.

The event is free to attend, and open to the public. For a bit more information, check out the Facebook Event.
