Ticket sales for the Faulkner Performing Arts Center’s 2019-2020 season go on sale Friday, July 26.

The center, located on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, begins the season on Nov. 19 with “The Martha Redbone Roots Project: The Garden of Love-Songs of William Blake.” The show is an exploration into Redbone’s roots in Kentucky, and will include a post-show Q&A.

Up next is “Josephine the Play” on Jan. 30. The adult audience, burlesque-style play combines cabaret, theatre and dance to tell the story of Josephine Baker, the first African-American international superstar.

After that, it’s a performance by American contemporary pianists and composer Robin Spielberg on April 4.

The season concludes April 23 when the Faulkner Center and the King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies present Salma El Assal. Originally from El Obain in western Sudan, Assal presents a suite of traditional Sudanese songs.

Season ticket passes are available by visiting faulkner.uark.edu or by calling the box office at 479-575-5387. A season Pick 3 option is also available. Individual tickets to performances go on sale Sept. 1.

The FPAC Presents season also includes a variety of free lectures and workshops.
