Mermaids Seafood Restaurant is getting some fancy new digs.
New location
Signs at the restaurant’s current location, as well as in front of the building formerly home to Savor Restaurant, indicate the business will soon be moving.

Chef/owner Todd Golden confirmed the news Monday.
“I think it’s going to be great,” Golden said of the new location. “There’s definitely plenty of room.”
Savor’s last day in business was Friday, Sept. 30, said former general manager Chad Williams.
If all goes according to plan, Mermaids will be open in the new location at 2217 N. College Ave. by Oct. 10.
Until then, they will continue to operate in their current space at 1815 N. Green Acres Rd.
