Mojo’s Pints & Pies closes original location on Garland Avenue

East Fayetteville location on Citizens Drive will remain open

A pizza restaurant, live-music spot, and gathering place near the University of Arkansas closed for good over the weekend.

Mojo’s Pints & Pies permanently closed their original location on Garland Avenue on May 27, they announced on their Facebook page.

From the announcement:

After almost 14 years, we have decided that it’s time for us to move forward in a different direction. We cannot express how much each and every one of you means to us, and we cannot thank you enough for the support you’ve shown us over the years. The memories we have, the friends/family we’ve made, the all-around love and support from this community is absolutely overwhelming.

That said, we are extremely excited for the new owners and what they will be bringing to that awesome location. We guarantee they bring a new and incredibly great vibe to that spot!

Our Eastside location will remain open and keeping our Mojo Workin’, so we hope to continue to see all of your faces on a regular basis!

As mentioned, the restaurant will continue to operate their location in east Fayetteville at 2630 E Citizens Dr A., in the shopping center with Walmart Neighborhood Market.

Mojo’s opened in 2010 in the building formerly home to Hogtown pizza at 1200 Garland Ave #7. The restaurant closed briefly during the pandemic when the new east side location opened due to difficulty staffing both restaurants at that time, but reopened in May of last year.

According to the Mojo’s announcement, a new concept with new owners is in the works at the location. As always, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information about that.

Mojo’s Citizens Drive location is open Tuesday-Wednesday from 3-10 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
